- Accumulator
- A single bet that links several selections; every choice must win for the bet to pay out, multiplying the odds.
- Asian Handicap (AH)
- A handicap applied to one team to level the match, removing the draw option and often using half‑goal or quarter‑goal margins.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of deciding how much of your total betting funds to risk on each bet to stay in the game.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine different markets from the same match into one custom wager.
- Bookmaker
- A company that sets odds and accepts bets on sporting events.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A wager on whether both sides will find the net at least once during the game.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet early, locking in a profit or cutting a loss before the final whistle.
- Correct Score
- A wager predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number that includes your stake; multiply your stake by this number to calculate total returns.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw, leaving only a win for one team.
- Edge
- The statistical advantage you have over the bookmaker's odds in a particular wager.
- Fractional Odds
- Traditional odds shown as a fraction, indicating how much profit you earn relative to your stake.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires you to predict both the result at half‑time and the result at full‑time.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a bet while the match is happening, with odds that update as the action unfolds.
- Juice (Vig)
- The commission a bookmaker adds to the odds, making the total implied probabilities exceed 100%.
- Line Movement
- The change in odds or handicap values over time as more bets are placed or new information emerges.
- Match Odds
- The odds a bookmaker offers for a specific match, showing the implied chance of each possible result.
- Moneyline Odds
- Odds displayed as a positive or negative number, showing how much you win on a $100 bet or how much you must stake to win $100.
- Odds Comparison
- Checking odds from different bookmakers to find the best possible return for the same bet.
- Over/Under (O/U)
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be over or under a set figure.
- Single Bet
- A straightforward wager on one outcome, risking only the amount you choose on that selection.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- System Bet
- A bet that combines multiple selections into smaller multiple bets, allowing you to win even if some selections lose.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds the bookmaker offers are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you a theoretical edge.
